Let’s go through some of the more standard interview questions below. Remember that all sample responses are pretty generic and should be altered based on your experience in your own industry or profession.

Why do you work for Standard Distrionics?

First off, make sure you have done your homework on the company. See your business research notes for this response. A critical angle that is sometimes overlooked is that it is important to give the impression (supported by reasonable evidence) that the way the company works is how you see yourself working. Give two reasons.

Suggested answer 1 – I know that Standard Distrionics has won awards for its people development approach and I want to develop my career in a company that encourages employees to develop. Furthermore, I honestly want to work for a market leader. NB This interview question can help you display what you have learnt about the company

Suggested answer 2 – I think as a small fast-growing company in a highly competitive industry, there will be great opportunities for learning and professional development. Also as you know Standard Distrionics exceeded its sector in the ‘Best Places to Work’ survey in the New York Times

Where do you see yourself in 5 year’s time

Answering the needs of this ‘interview question well involves being neither too ambitious nor too pedestrian. Indicate a desire to grow a realistic goal for the year or attaining a higher level (if any). If the position is an end in itself (as a graphic artist or a trade as a mechanic perhaps) then insist that the hope is to improve and excel with the company helping you be the best you can be in this role.

What can you bring to the Standard Distrionics role?

This can be quite a tough interview question.Look at the job description beforehand and comment upon your relevant experience in the sector. Experience is generally a good thing, but it must be balanced with flexibility and career development (Being the Engineering manager of Ron Davies and Son for 15 years may look like a career cul-de-sac, this solid experience must be tempered by evidence of recent developments and changes in practice, especially if they have been directed by you).

The interview question response should include, if possible two character traits and other positive competencies.

Sample answer:1 (experience and skills) My work experience in this / our area for years is <explain>, and my knowledge of current thinking / legislation in this area is <explain>. I feel that I could also bring a new perspective to your company from my time with a competing company.

Sample answer 2 (soft skills and positive attributes). I am an enthusiastic and proactive worker with well developed skills around people who could make a positive contribution to an organization that is (to paraphrase the mission statement or ethical aim here) at the forefront of your industry

Good luck with your interview from us here at CareerHunters. Remember as well; you are interviewing them too – after all looking at it this way will give you a sense of power and confidence

Many people are getting into paid surveys nowadays. Why? This is because it can give them extra income especially now that the economy is in hard times. However, some people who have tried doing online surveys are not that satisfied with the returns that they are getting from it. Some just simply quits the job because they got scammed.

There are a lot of scam operators in this job. This is evident because there are a lot of survey sites that have come up in the internet. They have mushroomed to thousands and try to have as many members as they can. By getting members join their sites, they are able to operate scam techniques to get money for themselves.

If you happen to land on a scam survey site, then you are a loser in this job. So, what should be done to win over these scammers? The answer is simple. Join legitimate survey sites.

Majority of survey takers are using the search engine when looking for sites to join. What they do not know is that the sites that the search engines give them are not filtered. So, it is a random list of legit, scam and low paying sites. And since the scam ones completely outnumber the legal ones, it is difficult to find the right site to join. All you can have from using the search engines are lists of sites that are usually outdated.

To avoid getting into sites that just waste your time and effort, try using forums instead. This is an established place where people who are actually doing online surveys chat and share their ideas, infos, knowledge, insights and experiences. This is where you can get honest to goodness information and tips that can help you prosper with your online survey career. And by reading along, you can also get to know where the experienced people are getting high and good payments. This way, you are sure that what you are joining is a legit and good paying site.

Do not waste your joining just about any survey site you see online. Be cautious and assure yourself of a good and right payment for your time and efforts spent on doing paid surveys.

The popularity of taking online jobs has been increasing tremendously nowadays. One of the more popular jobs through the online technology is by taking paid surveys. Though some may doubt the legitimacy of the job, many on the other hand, are enjoying what the job has given them. The doubts may be coming from the scams that have been reported from the job. It is easy to get started with this job. In fact, this may be the easiest and simplest way to get that fast cash others are looking for. Though you may earn a decent amount from doing paid surveys, you still have to consider some important thing. And these are the following:

- When taking paid surveys, you are in charge of your income. So, if you complete more surveys, then you will have more money. You can join several survey sites to be able to get more survey job offers. And by doing this, you are putting your name in good standings. However, you still have to take an extra effort in being cautious because online scams are everywhere in the online world. You can do a little research to make sure that you are joining a legit site or not.

- Before you become a member of a particular site, you are required to fill out an information online form. This is the company’s way to getting to know their members better. And some companies do not pay those who have incomplete information forms. So, be sure that you have filled out all the information fields required by the company. Anyway, legit companies do not sell any information that they have taken from their members.

- speaking of your profile information, have it updated regularly. Of course, companies that you are working for would like to know what has been happening to their members. And this will keep the company informed of what type of surveys they will send you.

It is best to know that your opinions really mean a lot for others and that you can even earn from it. But before jumping into this job, extra cautious is still a need to have a better survey taking career.
